Greg Schneiders

Founding Partner

Greg Schneiders is a founding partner in Prime Group and Prime Education. Prior to that, Greg was CEO of SWR Worldwide, an Interpublic Group company.

Greg began his career in research and strategic planning as Deputy Assistant to the President for Communications in the Carter White House. In that role, he directed the Presidential speechwriting office and advised the President on long-range communications strategy. Also at the White House Greg led the President’s reorganization project that resulted in the creation of The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and served as the President’s personal representative at major natural disasters.

Following his White House service, Greg served as Director of Communications for the Senate Democratic Policy Committee where he helped coordinate the message of the Senate Democrats and advised Minority Leader Robert Byrd on policy and communications issues. While in the Senate, Greg also served as Press Secretary for Senator John Glenn and later as Director of Communications in Senator Glenn’s presidential campaign.

Over the years, Greg has advised hundreds of political, corporate and non-profit clients on research-based communications strategy. These have included the U.S. State Department, General Electric, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, United Health Group, Standard & Poor’s, UPS, CBS, LabCorp, The Washington Post, Major League Baseball, The U.S. Golf Association, and The Smithsonian Institution.

Greg’s education clients have included the U.S. Department of Education, Educational Testing Service, ASCD, The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, The Business Roundtable’s Education Committee, Policy Innovation in Education, The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education, and Standard & Poor’s School Evaluation Division.

Greg holds an A.B. degree in philosophy from Georgetown University and has taught political communications at Georgetown’s School of Foreign Service and the University of Pennsylvania. He is a frequent public speaker on politics and communications and has contributed commentary and columns to The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal among many other publications.
